Privacy policy
This policy explains what information NigeriaBrowser handles when you use the site and how we look after it. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
NigeriaBrowser (nigeriabrowser.com) is run by NextFrame Publishing Group. For any privacy question, please contact us or email admin@nigeriabrowser.com.
You don't need an account
You can read NigeriaBrowser without signing up or telling us who you are.
What we collect
- Story taps. When you open a story, we count the tap against that story to help decide the order of stories. The count isn't linked to you. To stop one person from being counted many times, we keep a short technical record of the tap, and it's deleted automatically within one hour.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our server records basic request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, and they're deleted on a regular schedule.
- Messages and applications. If you use our contact or publisher forms, we keep the details you send so we can reply. We don't use them for marketing.
Cookies
NigeriaBrowser doesn't set cookies for readers. Cookies are used only when our own staff sign in to manage the site.
Other websites
Story pictures load from the publishers' own websites, and tapping a story takes you to the publisher's site. Once you're there, that publisher's privacy policy applies. We don't control how other websites handle information.
How long we keep information
We keep messages and applications for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of publisher relationships, and for no longer than 24 months. Tap records are deleted within one hour.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Please contact us and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below.
